Friday Five

1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed?

Yes in regard to first and middle, no to the last, that changed when I got married.

2. If you could change your name (first, middle and/or last), what would it be?

When I was a kid I hated my name, so when mom told me that she almost named me robyn, I would pretend that it was my name. Looking back, Robyn was not a name I would have enjoyed much, now I am quite happy with sherry.

3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?)

My mother had a close friend named cheryl or something like that, and she wanted to name me after her, but she didn't really like cheryl so she pick sherry. She said they sounded close, and that was good enough. Mom was responisble. She always filled out the paper work. My really dad wanted all of us to have different names, but she never gave in. To this day I still don't think he even knows Tammy's real name(my sister), it is Tamara.

4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why?

I hate the names Marcie, Shane, Debbie, or Debrah. I just don't like them. There are a few more, but those are the worst for me. Got me why. I have known a few people with those names over the years, and I tend to shorten them, or use nicknames just so I don't have to say their names. Yes I know I am a bad person.

5. Is the analysis of your name at kabalarians.com / triggur.org / astroexpert accurate? How or how isn't it?

I only did the 1st one because the second sucked, and the 3rd is not working for me. This is what it said:

So it sounds about right for me. All except the spontanious part. I am not usually, nor do I feel comfortable when other people do it to me. I am moody, creative, outspoken, a list maker, logical, you know, your typical, annoyingly anal type of person (or so I have been told).
